Kaisercraft Santa's List...

Are you ready for even more Christmas inspiration? Don't worry - we're not even close to being finished with Christmas - there is still more to come on Friday, lol!

I love 'untraditional" Christmas colours - so I had a blast creating this Santa's Sleigh with the Santa's List collection from Kaisercraft. I wasn't to create something fun for my girls, and I think this fits the bill perfectly.  I have plans to fill the sleigh with Christmas goodies. (They have been fighting over who will have it in their room - hello??? It's going on the Christmas table!!!).

Here are a few close-ups with all the details.

I know it's a bit hard to see, but I've covered all the sleigh edges with coarse crystal. In real life, it almost looks like snow.

Yes, I even glittered the roses, lol! And in case you are wondering why I added roses to my sleigh, it was a little plain without, and I decided to channel my inner "Snow Queen" to help add a little charm and sweetness.

No, you are not seeing things - I created TWO cards. Ha! I think I am slowly getting the hang of this card thing (about time, I say!!!). And yes, I went with the cute option. :-)

If you would like to view more details of these projects, plus view more inspiration from my team  members, just click on the link to the Kaisercraft blog - right here.

Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you will join me on Friday for even more Christmas goodness.

Happy scrapping, xxx

Kaisercraft Christmas Carol Collection...

Are you ready for Christmas? No? Well, I have something to help put you in the mood - the first of three new Kaisercraft Christmas paper collections - Christmas Carol...

"Peace Love Joy"
This is the first project I created with this range. There are more photos and details on the Kaisercraft blog. Just click on this link.

I just adored all the Poinsettia flowers and leaves - perfect for fussy cutting. :-)

And my second project - a Christmas "JOY" wall hanging.
Seriously, I cannot wait for Christmas so I can hang this on my wall. I just love the colours, and the way the red just pops off the page.
Just click on the link for more details and photos on the Kaisercraft Blog. Plus you will find more projects and inspiration from my team mates.

Cheers and big hugs, xxx

Purple Pumpkin September Sketch...

As some of you may know, I recently attended the Camp Mojo Retreat. And while I was there, I had the pleasure of attending not one, but two, of Louise Nelson's classes. Yes, I know Louise and I live in the same city, but other commitments have always prevented me from attending her local classes, lol!

Anyway, when I saw the September sketch for Purple Pumpkin, I knew exactly what I was going to do with it, thanks to Louise. :-) And I am giving you fair warning now - you will be seeing a lot more of Louise's influence in my work over the coming weeks - I have found some new techniques to play with, and I have a lot of experimenting to do. A lot. :-D

Yes, I have used a lot of Purple Pumpkin goodies (twine, washi tape, fabric buttons, tickets, crochet doily, and bling flower) on this layout (along with some very old K&Company stickers). Don't you love it when you can mix the old with the new?

Oh, and I got to play with some new release Imaginarium Designs chipboard, too. Keep an eye out for it - coming soon to a store near you.

Seriously, I had so much fun creating this layout. I just loved being able to "play" and experiment with different products, in ways that I hadn't thought of before (let's just say I have a new love for embossing enamels and Dylusions, lol!).

Here's the Purple Pumpkin September sketch designed by Debbie Burns. Just click on the link for all the details and entry guidelines.

Happy scrapping everyone!

Matchbook Mini Album...

I'm sharing a sweet little matchbook mini album on the PaperHaus blog today.
(I learnt to make these at a retreat many, many years ago).

If you would like to learn how to make one of these, just pop on over to the PaperHaus blog. You will find a tutorial with lots of photos. :-)

They are very quick and easy, and make great gifts and stocking fillers.
Have fun scrapping, xxx

Purple Pumpkin Project #3

Here's my latest project for Purple Pumpkin.

"You Are My Sunshine"
I created this layout using Glitz Design papers, masking tape, Glitz stickers, and a handful of Purple Pumpkin embellishments. All the details can be found on the Purple Pumpkin blog, right here.

Here's a few close-ups of the details and layering.

Now don't forget to get your entry in for the Purple Pumpkin August sketch. All the details are right here. But be quick - time is running out. :-)

And have you checked out the new products that we now have in the Purple Pumpkin store? What? You haven't??? What are you waiting for? The store has been filled, and is overflowing, with lots of new and pretty embellishments. Stock up quick because they never last long. :-)

Happy Hump Day!

Cheers, xxx
