The design team from Imaginarium Designs was invited to play over at the Scrap Around The World November challenge. The end results are AMAZING!!!!

"JUST A MOMENT IN TIME"
As you can see here, I created a layout using one of the techniques I learnt from Louise Nelson (I took her classes at Camp Mojo).

I have used Croco-Crackling paste to create all those beautiful cracks and texture. And I used Shimmerz sprays to create the rainbow background.

And I have included lots and lots of Imaginarium Designs chipboard. Some of it has been heat embossed, other pieces have been inked and glittered.

Here's the (optional) sketch for the November Scrap Around The World challenge. Yes, it is one of my designs. :-)

And here's the inspiration palette for the November challenge. Aren't the rainbow colours gorgeous!!! If you would like to join the fun, you can check out all the details and rules right here.

Happy scrapping! xxx

PaperHaus November Sketch...

No, I haven't fallen off the face of the planet (although at times, I really wish I had). I have been very ill, with doctor's appointments, CAT scans, new medications etc. I am finally starting to feel a little better, and hopefully life will get back to normal over the next few weeks.

Here's the layout I created for the November PaperHaus sketch. Please drop over to the PaperHaus blog because the DT have outdone themselves with this month's sketch - there is an overload of inspiration to be viewed.

Just a couple of close-ups of the journalling, flowers, and details.

Products Used: Crate papers; Prima flowers; Imaginarium Designs chipboard; Webster's dazzlers; Magnolia die, MFT dies; Pan Pastels; and Crafter's Workshop mask.

Thanks for dropping by.
I hope you are having a lovely weekend.

Scraps Of Darkness Gothic Kit...

I have two more Guest Designer layouts to share from the Scraps of Darkness Gothic Kit

"TRICKS & TREATS"
This was the first time my two girls had been invited to a Halloween Party, and to go trick or treating. They had a blast, and now consider it compulsory to celebrate every year, lol!

Just a few close-up details. Yes, you can spot a mirror and a feather. :-)

I have also included some Prima flowers from my own stash which I ahve highlighted with glitter, and some random black rhinestones for added detail.

"THE BOO CREW"
Vampires, witches, monsters and ghouls - they all went trick or treating, and received a tonne of candy.
I went with a grungy layered look for this layout - I was thinking tattered and torn. :-)

A few more close-up details. I've coated the "BOO" die cut with Glossy Accents and sprinkled Tim Holtz distress glitter over the top.

Thanks for stopping by!

Paints, Powders, and Projects...

My first blog post for Creative Inspirations Paints has gone live - right here.

"LOVE YOU"
I wasn't sure what to create as I had never played with Creative Inspiration Paints before. So, I decided the best way to go about it was to play and experiment. And I am so glad I did because I had a LOT of fun creating this layout.

The embossing powders are glorious, set smoothly, and sparkle!!! Here I have used the Gold Crystal Sparkle embossing powder on an Imaginarium Designs chipboard title.

I found that the paints easily cover metal embellishments, and they have a lovely pearl sheen. Yes, you heard me right! I can now paint my metal embellishments any colour that I choose. I am one happy scrapper!!! :-)

Products Used: Marion Smith Made Tea Party papers; Imaginarium Designs chipboard: Creative Inspirations Paints and embossing powders: Shimmerz sprays; and a Crafter's Workshop template.

Thanks for stopping by,
and I hope you have a wonderful weekend. xxx

Scraps Of Darkness Guest Designer...

I am honoured to be the Guest Designer this month over at Scraps of Darkness Kit Club

October's "GOTHIC" kit is full of awesome Halloween papers and goodies. Very spooky indeed!!! And it comes with an exclusive sketch - just for the kit! And don't forget there are also add-ons in case you would like a larger assortment of goodies to play with.

"SPOOKY"
This is my first layout created with the Gothic kit, and using the exclusive sketch.

I used orange glitter on the rose petal edges to help them stand out a little.

Did I mention that the Melissa Francis pack of paper dies is awesome!!!!!! There are so many to choose from, it's overwhelming. I loved playing with this kit. It's filled with gorgeous accessories, and it even has glitter! LOL!
Stay tuned for more Halloween layouts in the next couple of days. :-)

Kaisercraft Saturday Sketch...

If you hop on over to the Kaisercraft blog - right here - you'll find the current Saturday Sketch #4. Sandie Edwards and I decided to have some fun with the same papers, and same sketch. But the end results are totally different. :-)

"LOVE"
Created using the Kaisercraft Lady Rose Collection.
Here's the link to the sketch sample

I usually use Glimmermist on my flowers, but for something different, this time I coated them with Glimmer Glaze. It gives a much more pearlescent effect.

And I am totally loving the glitter gold embossing powder. :-)
Hope you've had an awesome weekend.xxx

Kaisercraft Base Coat III...

The last release for October is the Basecoat III Collection. I'm of the theory you can NEVER have too much Basecoat. I love the colours in this range - great neutrals and earthy colours.

First up, I decided to check out how well these papers work for a masculine card. What do you think?

And then I decided to try them out on a feminine layout. Yep, the papers work for that too. :-)
For a full list of all the materials used, please check out the Kaisercraft blog - right here

I've used lots of layers, and collectables to create this layout. Then added flowers for a feminine touch. And of course, some bling. ;-)

Kaisercraft Gingerbread Collection...

The Gingerbread Collection (another October release) is a super sweet Christmas range. There's nothing traditional about this range, which makes it perfect for a fun and whimsical Christmas project.

My advent calendar has been created using Gingerbread Collection papers, collectables, and wooden flourishes. For a full list of materials used, please visit the Kaisercraft blog - right here

These little boxes are just so darn cute! I can't wait to fill them with sweets and treats for the Christmas holidays. My girls are going to enjoy this so much.

Now I just have to wait for Christmas to arrive. :-) How many days do we have left?
(Here's a hint: It's less than two months, lol!!!)
Have a great weekend.
Cheers, xxx

Kaisercraft Hidden Treasures Collection...

The second release for October is one of my all time favourites - Hidden Treasures Collection. I just love this vintage collection - so magical and charming.

I created my card with the 6.5 x 6.5 paper pad.
For a full supply list, please visit the Kaisercraft blog - right here

My layout was created with Hidden Treasures papers, collectables, rub-ons, and rhinestones. There are lots of layers and little details on this layout.

I'm in love with those Babushka Dolls. Seriously cute!!!

What's your favourite Kaisercraft release?

Kaisercraft Lady Rose Collection...

It's time to share my creations from the Kaisercraft October releases. First up, we have the Lady Rose collection. This is such a beautiful, elegant, and feminine collection.

First up, I have created this card. Maybe for a friend? Or as a thank-you card?

I created this bird house using Lady Rose papers, collectables, flowers, and rhinestones. For a full list of supplies, please visit the Kaisercraft blog - right here

Can you say "pretty"? Such an unexpected colour palette, but it just works so well together.

What am I going to do with this bird house? I have no idea!!! At the moment, I have it on display in my cabinet. But I am guessing that one of my girls will eventually claim it for their bedroom. :-)
