The Good And The Bad...

Firstly, the good. The new Design Team for PaperHaus has been announced. And I am so happy and excited to be able to say, that I am staying on with the team for another term. :-)
Just click HERE to check out the new team. Believe me, it's an AWESOME team.

And now, unfortunately, the bad...

My baby boy Othello (he's a Manx, and the oldest of my cats) has disappeared. It's been over a week, so I have accepted he is gone permanently. Othello was about 14 years old, and very much a home body (he had arthritis in his back legs so he never wandered far). I have called, I have searched the yard, I have looked for a body, but there is nothing. He has just disappeared totally.

He was my baby, and he loved me as much as I loved him (just ask my hubby). I miss him. But I keep reminding myself that he had the best 14 years ever. He has been loved, spoilt, pampered, and patted.
RIP my handsome boy, wherever you may be. Travel safely over the Rainbow Bridge.

Thanks for stopping by, xxx

  1. Congratulations on the design team continuence and I'm so sorry about Othello. I know how tough it can be to lose a member of your family. I am sure he is laying in the sun, rolling on his back in the clouds.

  4. Tears for Othello...... :(

I, all too well, know the pain of losing a beloved kitty. We have lots of cats....but each one of them is special and loved. I cry whenever I lose one.

We have a young guy cat named Othello, who is my son's best buddy. Our Othello is solid black, and humongous. When I mentioned to my son abt you losing your Othello, he gave a pained "Awwww...poor kitty!"

May you find comfort knowing you gave your Othello a loving home and much happiness all his life. That is more than most kitties are fortunate enough to enjoy.

    Hugs to you!

  5. I am so very sorry for your loss! I know how difficult it is to have a beloved four-legged family member just disappear. It is heart-wrenching and so hard to handle. I had a Manx cat and our neighbor's dog attacked and killed her right before my eyes! I miss her so much. We have lived in the country for the last 19 years and have had many cats just never come home and it never gets any easier. Those who say "that is the price you pay for having an outdoor cat" just don't realize that cats NEED to be outside to be healthy and happy.
My thoughts are with you and I will pray for the miracle that Othello shows up one day looking proud of himself for going on an adventure. We have had cats go missing for months and then "POOF" they show up on the doorstep one day.
