Taking A New Approach...

After receiving some much needed advice from some very special friends, I have decided to take a new approach to how I photograph my layouts. From now on, I will include detail shots (where available). But you will have to bear with me while I learn how to do this. In the process of learning, I am probably going to take shots that are boring, too far away, too close, and the wrong angle. But if I don't start practicing now, I'll never get the hang of it. So please be patient with me while I teach my camera what I want to do, lol!!!
This layout above is one that I will be teaching at Arnold's in the near future - probably April, maybe May. Titled: It's A Crazy Life. The class will be a two layout class. The other layout is pictured below. If you are in the neighborhood and would like to attend the class, please call Arnold's to get the full details, or to make a booking.

Here's my first detail shot. You can see the sparkles on my banner, and the rhinestones on the circle. Lots of bling!!!

A little doodling, a little Glimmermist, and some punch work. And more rhinestones, lol!

Here's the second layout that I will teach in my class. titled: Beautiful. Unfortunately, I don't have any detail shots as I completed this layout a week ago, before I made this decision to take a new approach. If you have any feedback on my classes or new approach, I would love to hear it! Please feel free to leave a comment letting me know what you think.

  3. I love that you're doing the detail shots now :) Your layouts are so intricate that I don't even notice half of the little details and embellishments without those close up shots. Beautiful LO's!
